Ventura County sheriff’s deputies arrested three San Fernando Valley men about 2:30 a.m. Saturday on suspicion of burglarizing cars in Oak Park.
Deputies stopped the suspects’ car after it ran a stop sign and noticed several car stereos and speakers strewn about the car, a Sheriff’s Department spokesman said. Police had recently beefed up patrols in the area after several cars were broken into. Deputies also reported finding “burglary type tools” in the vehicle.
Arrested were Carlos Quintania, 18; William Rene Villegas, 28, and Jose Heber Cisneros, 26, all of North Hills.
The three were booked into the Ventura County Jail on burglary charges, a jail spokesman said. Bail was set at $10,000 for each of them.
