CITY SECTION SEMIFINALS

Chatsworth 5, Taft 0--Right-hander Oscar Bocanegra (5-1) hurled a four-hitter to lead Chatsworth (28-4) to a victory over Taft (16-16) in a City Section 4-A Division semifinal at Pierce College. Top-seeded Chatsworth will play El Camino Real for the 4-A championship Monday at Dodger Stadium in a rematch of last season’s final, won by El Camino Real.

El Camino Real 6, Kennedy 2--Randy Wolf, who was drafted Friday by the Dodgers in the 25th round of the major league amateur draft, scattered three hits in the final two innings to earn the save for El Camino Real (22-7) in a 4-A Division semifinal victory over Kennedy (17-11) at Birmingham High.

Huntington Park 2, Lincoln 1--Sergio Nolasco hit a double in the top of the third inning, advanced to third on a ground out to second by Mario Arambula and scored the winning run on an error by third baseman Lico Erami in a Division 3-A semifinal game at Crystal Springs Park. Huntington Park improved to 12-7. Lincoln finished 19-3.

Franklin 7, South Gate 3--Franklin outfielder Roberto Miranda had two hits and scored two runs in leading Franklin (20-4-1) to a 3-A Division semifinal victory at East LA.
