FULLERTON : Nonprofit Groups Sought for Festival
- Share via
Nonprofit organizations are being sought to operate food and game booths at the fifth annual Community Fireworks Show and Festival July 4 at Fullerton High School.
About 30,000 people are expected to attend the event, which will feature a 25-minute aerial fireworks show at about 9 p.m.
As in the past, only nonprofit organizations will be allowed to sell goods including food, balloons and other novelty items and charge a fee for games, festival officials said.
Even though the city banned fireworks five years ago, the festival was especially created so nonprofit groups could raise money, said Ann Mottola, festival coordinator.
Applications are available in the Community Services Department at City Hall, 303 W. Commonwealth Ave.
