Sony Pictures Renews Merv Griffin Agreement: The new long-term agreement was made through Griffin Group. Griffin is chairman of Merv Griffin Enterprises, a Sony Pictures subsidiary that produces “Wheel of Fortune” and “Jeopardy.” Griffin will continue to serve as executive producer of the game shows and will also serve as a consultant to Sony Pictures in television and other areas.
