Bill Pellington, a linebacker with the Baltimore Colts from 1953 to 1964, died at 66 of complications from Alzheimer’s disease. . . . James W. Liebertz, athletic director at the United States Merchant Marine Academy from 1950 to 1972, died of natural causes on Monday. He was 80.
