Fullerton Man, 22, Dies in Car Crash

FULLERTON — A 22-year-old man was killed early Tuesday when his car slammed into a eucalyptus tree in the 1400 block of Harbor Boulevard, police said.
Valeriano Santiago-Garcia of Fullerton died at the scene of the 2 a.m. crash near Brea and Harbor boulevards, police said.
A Fullerton police officer parked at a grocery store saw Santiago-Garcia driving north at about 70 to 75 miles per hour in a 35-m.p.h. zone, police Sgt. Douglas Bates said. As the officer made a U-turn to pursue the car, he heard a crash, police said.
