Industrial Output Increases: Gains in building activity and electronics production helped push national industrial production up 5.88% on the year in the first quarter, the Ministry of Economic Affairs said. Building activity, measured by construction work completed, gained 22.6% on the year in the first quarter. Production of electronics and information products increased 11.3% for the period. Output of chemicals and metals also increased.
