Coyote Problem Is a Threat to Home Buyers
- Share via
Since the city instituted the ban on trapping coyotes, the public safety concerns of homeowners have become resounding. But another concern is already upon us.
Because of the danger and because of the enormity of local news coverage, would-be home buyers, particularly parents and pet owners, are becoming increasingly leery of buying in our neighborhoods--and with good reason.
Do our City Council members honestly believe that homeowners will not mete out some retribution in the voting booth if they continue to allow the degradation of our primary financial assets, our homes?
Do they think that homeowners, homeowner associations and realtors faced with a new public disclosure issue are going to look the other way as they get hit in the pocketbook?
Think again.
