Corona del Mar Diver Seventh at Nationals

Corona del Mar High senior Sandy Zubrin took seventh place in the three-meter springboard at the U.S. National Indoor Diving Championships Friday in Minneapolis.

Zubrin earned a spot on the U.S. National Diving team for the second consecutive year. She also qualified for the U.S. Olympic Festival to be held July 1-5 in St. Louis.

Summer Brown, a Capistrano Valley High junior, finished ninth and qualified for the Olympic Festival.
