Pink Floyd Show Was Fine Without Screens
Regarding Mike Boehm’s critical comments about the lack of video screens at the Pink Floyd concert for close-in viewing of the band (“Floyd’s Back, for Better and Worse,” April 16).
In case you didn’t notice it . . . there was a show going on. That would be like saying you did not like “Phantom of the Opera,” because you could not see the orchestra.
I know it is in vogue to criticize any show that is commercially successful, but I have been attending concerts for more than 20 years, and this was one of the most complete and entertaining shows I have ever seen, from start to finish.
On this event, your review missed the mark entirely.
