Saddleback 11 1/3, University 9 2/3--Saddleback’s No. 1 doubles team of Jonathan Phung and Tom Tu won their sets 6-2, 6-0, 6-3 and recorded the only sweep of the match. The Roadrunners (7-7, 4-6) haven’t beaten fourth-ranked University (9-4, 8-2) in nine years.

In the South Coast League:

Mission Viejo 12 2/3, El Toro 8 2/3--Christian Fernandez and Fernando Machuca swept at doubles, 7-5, 6-4, 6-3, as unranked Mission Viejo (5-7, 3-2) upset the seventh-ranked Chargers (9-4, 3-2).

In Orange League golf:

Brea-Olinda 193, Western 205--Western’s Tiger Woods shot two-under par 34 at Imperial, but Brea (3-2 in league) had four of its five players shoot under 40.
