Trimedyne Inc.: The Irvine manufacturer of medical lasers said it lost $352,000, or 4 cents a share, for its latest fiscal quarter, contrasted with a profit of $94,000, or 1 cent a share, for the same period a year earlier. Revenue for the company’s second quarter, which ended March 31, dropped 10% to $3.7 million from $4.1 million. For the first six months of its current fiscal year, the company reported a loss of $897,000, or 10 cents a share, compared to a loss of $55,000, or 1 cent a share, for the same period a year earlier. Six-month revenue declined 14% to $6.9 million from $8 million.
