BRIEFLY : People: Presidential Scholar Semi-Finalist

Los Angeles resident Julia Lee has been named a semi-finalist for the 1994 Presidential Scholars Program.
Lee, a senior at the Marlborough School for Girls in Westwood, was selected from more than 2.5 million high school students nationwide. The White House will select 141 finalists next month.
Scholars are selected on the basis of academic achievements, leadership qualities, character, school activities and community involvement.
