Your charts on obtaining visas (News, Tips and Bargains, March 20 and 27 and April 3) were noted with interest since the San Francisco company credited with the information didn’t bother to point out that consulates in Los Angeles may have slightly different rules or prices. This often happens among consulates for the same country in different cities. There is also frequently a legal jurisdictional situation that makes it necessary to secure visas in Los Angeles if you are a resident of Southern California.
