Police in Cape Town have charged a schoolteacher as South Africa’s worst serial killer, dubbed “the Station Strangler,” after 21 boys were slain in an eight-year rampage. The strangler stalked his victims, boys ages 9 to 15, at railway stations, lured them away and dumped their bodies in scrubland. Police said the suspect, charged with one murder, is an elementary school teacher with a history of mental illness.
