FULLERTON : 3 Authors to Speak at Reforma Fund-Raiser

The county chapter of Reforma, a national association that promotes library services for those who speak Spanish, will hold its second annual scholarship fund-raiser Saturday at the Fullerton Public Library.
Three Latino authors will talk about their profession. Admission is $10 for the general public and $5 for students. Proceeds will go toward providing scholarships for graduate students pursuing a master’s degree in library and information science.
Ruben Martinez, a host of public television’s “Life and Times” and author of “The Other Side”; Marisela Norte, a free-lance writer and poet whose work is featured on the cassette tapes “Norte/Word” and “Black and Tan Club,” and Frank Ortega, co-author of “5 Orange County Poets,” will sign books and tapes and read from their work.
The event begins at 7 p.m. at the library, 353 W. Commonwealth Ave.
