PALOS VERDES PENINSULA : Annual Photo Contest Focuses on Nature

Amateur and professional photographers have until May 14 to enter the fourth annual Picture Palos Verdes photography competition.
Sponsored by the Palos Verdes Peninsula Land Conservancy, the contest judges nature photographs taken on the peninsula.
The categories are: seascapes, sunsets, landscapes, wildlife, plants and flowers, and black-and-white.
Entries will be exhibited at The Shops at Palos Verdes, at 550 Deep Valley Drive in Rolling Hills Estates from May 16 to 27.
Winners will be announced at a ceremony May 20.
