LAWNDALE : City Will Pick Up Large Trash Items

Lawndale residents can do some free spring cleaning next week.
A city-sponsored program will encourage disposal of appliances, bundled tree branches and other large items April 18 to 24. Items may be placed on the curb at normal trash pick-up times.
Yard sales also will be free, with the city waiving its $3 fee.
Volunteers are needed to help paint over graffiti and pick up trash around the city April 23. For information: (310) 970-2100, Ext. 174.
