Ross to Convert Six Builder’s Emporium Locations: The company said it has acquired six of the sites and will convert them to Dress for Less stores. Ross Stores Inc. will open two of the six stores--one in Long Beach and another in San Juan Capistrano--on Saturday, a spokeswoman said. The other four will open in the summer and fall in Costa Mesa, Venice, Lake Forest and Los Angeles. The Newark-based discount retailer, which operates 250 stores in 18 states, has 116 stores in California.
