NTS Opens Testing Facility in Arizona

National Technical Systems Inc., a Calabasas provider of testing and technical support for defense and commercial markets, said it has opened a testing facility in Tempe, Ariz., to accommodate its growing business in the Southwest.
The company previously serviced the Southwest market from its California laboratories. NTS said that since opening the Arizona facility at the beginning of the year, it has received several small jobs, including a contract from aerospace and industrial contractor TRW Inc., to perform qualification testing on automotive safety equipment.
It also has an arrangement with a Loral Corp. facility in Litchfield Park, Ariz., under which NTS will do testing for the military contractor using Loral equipment.
