Fortune Petroleum Completes Exploration

Fortune Petroleum Corp., an Agoura Hills energy concern, said four natural gas wells and one oil well at a Texas field in which it owns a 50% interest have been successfully “recompleted.”
A recompletion is when a production company explores previously untapped areas of old wells.
Fortune spent half of the $80,000 total cost of recompleting the wells at the La Rosa Field in Refugio County, Tex. The company said the revenues from the wells would show up in its second quarter financial results.
