SIMI VALLEY : 2 Parking Lots Near Freeway Planned

Simi Valley car-poolers will get 150 additional parking spaces when a Caltrans project to build two lots near the Simi Valley Freeway is completed this fall.
Caltrans has received $240,000 from the Ventura County Transportation Commission to fund the project, said project engineer Paul Hsu.
An additional $60,000 will be paid by Caltrans.
The lots will be built on vacant land near the freeway at Erringer Road and at Tapo Canyon Road.
The new lots will ease crowding in lots at Sycamore Drive and Stearns Street and at the 600-space Metrolink lot, Hsu said.
