Unemployment Declines, Jobs Grow: Australia’s jobless rate in March fell to a seasonally adjusted 10.3% from 10.5% in February, its lowest point since November, 1991. Employment grew slightly, but not as much as analysts had expected. The drop in the jobless rate, however, was better than experts had predicted. The number of people employed in March rose by 7,100; that represented a drop of 8,800 in full-time jobs and a rise of 15,900 in part-time jobs.
