Dennis Durney, 60, actor and producer of such television films as “Shadow Riders.” The son of highly successful screenwriter Dorothy Kingsley, Durney worked with his mother on a television remake of “Angels in the Outfield” in 1991. As an actor, he had roles in the films “Where the Boys Are,” “A Ticklish Affair” and “Atlantis, the Lost Continent.” In 1982, he produced author Louis L’Amour’s “Shadow Riders” for television, starring Sam Elliott and Tom Selleck. His other productions included “Molly and Lawless John,” a television movie with Vera Miles and Elliott, and “Beretta’s Island” with Arnold Schwarzenegger. On Wednesday in Los Angeles of heart failure.
