COLLEGE ROUNDUP : Moorpark Pair Advance in Decathlon

Isaiah Mustafa of Moorpark College finished second and teammate Keith Kephart placed sixth in the Southern California junior college decathlon championships Wednesday at Santa Barbara City College.
The top six finishers advance to next month’s state championships.
Mustafa, runner-up in the decathlon in last year’s state meet, had a personal best of 6,417 points.
Kephart totaled 5,879 points.
BASEBALL
Cal Lutheran 14, Concordia 4--Chris Fick was five for five to lead a 22-hit Cal Lutheran attack in a nonconference game.
MEN’S VOLLEYBALL
Pierce d. Grossmont, 15-11, 16-14, 14-16, 15-8--Brad Schultz (17 kills) and Gabe Higa (16) led Pierce (13-0) in a WSC match.
