ROWLAND UNIFIED: Five of 12 teams from the district placed first in Odyssey of the Mind, a regional academic contest involving 50 schools. Challenges included staging a scene from “The Iliad,” constructing devices to produce a musical tune and creating a mini-terrain vehicle that can run an obstacle course.
