Laguna Hills Firm Completes Chapter 7 for Puerto Rico Unit

LAGUNA HILLS — HOH Water Technology Corp., a Laguna Hills maker of water purification systems, said Wednesday that it has completed the Chapter 7 bankruptcy proceedings for its Puerto Rico subsidiary, HOH International Inc.
HOH International, which operates one of the company’s two manufacturing facilities, had been mired in financial trouble and sank HOH Water Technology in debt. The end of the bankruptcy proceedings clears the way for HOH to remove about $3 million in debt. The company will now manufacture its products only at its Laguna Hills facility.
