TARZANA — An electrical fire that started early Sunday in a bathroom of a two-story commercial building caused about $45,000 in damage, fire officials said.
About 45 firefighters worked for half an hour to put out the blaze at the building on the 5500 block of Reseda Boulevard, said Los Angeles Fire Department spokesman Bob Collis.
The fire, which was reported at 4 a.m., was confined to a small storage area and bathroom on the second floor of the building, Collis said.
The fire caused about $30,000 in damage to the building and $15,000 in damage to furnishings and possessions.
