Lake Forest : Quake Preparedness Tips to Be Presented

The Orange County Fire Department is offering tips on how to prepare for a major earthquake at a community meeting to be held here April 18.
Called “Are You Ready For The Big One?” the informational session will start at 7 p.m. in a multiuse tent at the Saddleback Valley Community Church at 1 Saddleback Parkway, located near the intersection of El Toro Road and Santa Margarita Parkway.
Battalion Chief Don Forsyth will lead the free program, presenting a slide show and explaining how people can prepare for an earthquake in the Saddleback Valley.
The event is sponsored by the Fire Department and the Saddleback Valley Community Church. For more information, call (714) 581-9100, Ext. 118.
