Music: Industry sources confirm actor and producer Mel Gibson’s Icon Productions is forming a venture with Time Warner’s Atlantic Records to release soundtracks to Gibson films beginning with the upcoming Warner Bros. film “Maverick.” The soundtracks will be released under the Atlantic/Icon name, and distributed by Atlantic. The “Maverick”’ album will include songs by John Michael Montgomery, Clint Black and Vince Gill. Also included is a choir-like version of “Amazing Grace” with recording royalties from the song going to the Pediatric AIDS Foundation.
