USC’s Leslie Is Player of the Year

USC’s Lisa Leslie was named national women’s player of the year by the U.S. Basketball Writers Assn. The 6-foot-5 senior from Inglewood is the Pacific 10 Conference’s all-time leading scorer and rebounder.
UCLA’s Natalie Williams was also named to the 10-player USBA All-American team.
