6-Hour <i> Banda</i> Concert, Fund-Raiser to Be Held

Super Bandido, Banda Movil and Banda Toro will be among the groups performing at a six-hour banda concert and quebradita dance contest Sunday at East Los Angeles College Stadium benefiting the National Hispanic Education Foundation.
Proceeds from the noon concert will be used to provide scholarships to Latinos in the East Los Angeles area, to help restore canceled classes at ELAC and to help with the establishment of the Thurgood Marshall School of Law and Legal Center for East Los Angeles. Information: (213) 722-5400.
