HUNTINGTON BEACH : Classic Bike Show to Be Held on Saturday
- Share via
Bicycle enthusiasts and collectors are invited to the “Johnny Rockets California Classic and Antique Bike Show” Saturday on Main Street, north of the Huntington Beach Pier.
The show will feature several classes for bikes from the late 1800s to the 1950s. Organizers are expecting the number of entries to top 100.
Collectors will show off their bikes, and the show will feature an antique swap meet. The swap meet provides the opportunity for collectors to find parts for old and rare bicycles.
The show, which will begin at 6 a.m., will be held in the park near the Main Street branch library. The host of the event is Team Bicycle Shop, a major supplier of classic and period bicycles to the motion picture and television industry.
The event is being held in conjunction with “Interstate Batteries Great American Race.” It is one of several events that precede the start of the antique auto race.
