Aeromexico, Mexicana Reach Accord With Pilots: Pilot leaders from Mexico’s two major airlines said they reached agreement for a new labor contract that will avert a strike scheduled for today, according to a Mexicana spokesman. The carriers, which together employ more than 1,500 pilots, have agreed to hire union pilots to fly planes subleased to airline subsidiaries. Pilots agreed to extend their working hours and take steps to trim costs.
