Pasadena Library Service Cutbacks and Proposition 1

As a Pasadena business owner, I would like to express my opinion about Proposition 1. Pasadena Public Library has provided us with outstanding reference and research service, and we would be devastated by further cutbacks. Proposition 1 asks for a tax of approximately 5 cents per day. In today’s business market, where can I find a better bargain?

Please, please, please do whatever you can to help Pasadena Public Library restore hours and service. My children and I use the Santa Catalina Branch Library extensively. Where else can we find Armenian language newspapers and books? Katy Currey, Beverly Clay, and Nvart Stephanian at Santa Catalina are wonderful. They have helped me find books as I attend nursing school. They have been invaluable in finding books to help my sons with school projects and reports. We need our branch library!
