A group for fathers who stay at home with their children has been formed by the Rev. Donald Northcutt of All Souls Unitarian Church in San Juan Capistrano. The Rev. Northcutt, father of two adult sons, is also a grandfather and now provides daily care for his 3-year-old daughter while his wife works.
The group will not be religious in nature. “Dads at home often have a tremendous need to be with other men in the same circumstances. While many mommy-and-me groups may accept men with children, it is sometimes very awkward being the only man.”
