Two partly loaded trailers worth $51,000 were stolen from a furniture storage facility in Moorpark after thieves rammed their way through a parking lot gate, officials said.
The theft occurred between 4:30 p.m. Wednesday and 7:30 a.m. Thursday at the facility at 5100 Commerce Ave. owned by Wambold Furniture Co. of Simi Valley, according to a report by Ventura County Sheriff’s Sgt. Steven Bourke.
Suspects rammed through the gate and hooked their own vehicles to the two trailers and fled, Bourke said in the release.
The Moorpark storage facility has been burglarized in the same manner on two other recent occasions, company officials said.
