MCA Names Senior VP and Music Man for Australia

MCA Moves: Andre Fischer is the new senior vice president of A&R; for MCA Records’ Black Music division.
Fischer will oversee daily operations of the department. He has extensive experience as a producer, having worked on albums such as Natalie Cole’s “Unforgettable With Love” and Tony Bennett’s “Perfectly Frank.”
Peter Hebbes has been named to head MCA’s music publishing operation in Australia. He previously was managing director of Festival Music Publishing Group and Associated Cos.

Daniel Ferleger has been promoted to senior vice president of business affairs for Twentieth Century Fox. He had been vice president of business affairs since 1990.
Cecil Cox has joined the motion picture division at William Morris Agency. The Harvard-educated Cox, who was drafted by the Detroit Lions, previously worked at International Creative Management. He is assigned to Morris’ motion picture talent team.
