Children of all ages who need a break from the arduous work of licking a lollipop will be relieved to hear about Spin Pops, a battery-driven motorized sucker.

The product is being marketed by Cap Toys Inc. of Bedford Heights, Ohio, which apparently is trying to make some money off the tendency of children to play with their food.

At the touch of a button, the Spin Pop automatically twirls the lollipop at a speed of about 100 rpm. When the candy is gone, it can be replaced with any standard lollipop.
