SAN JUAN CAPISTRANO : Trustee to Head School Boards Assn.

Capistrano Unified School District Trustee Crystal Kochendorfer has been elected president of the Orange County School Boards Assn., which represents all school board members for the 28 districts in the county.
Kochendorfer, a resident of Dana Point and member of Capistrano Unified’s Board of Trustees since 1988, will serve a one-year term with the county association.
During her tenure as a Capistrano trustee, Kochendorfer has served as president, vice president and clerk. She is also president this year of the Capistrano-Laguna Beach Regional Occupational Program board of trustees.
Longtime district Trustee Annette B. Gude, now vice president of the board, was also recently reelected to the Delegate Assembly of the California School Boards Assn.
The Delegate Assembly serves as the chief policy-making body for the association.
