Largemouth Bass Biting at Southland Reservoirs

Trophy-sized largemouth bass have become active at several Southland reservoirs, as these anglers can attest:
--Harold Choe of Glendale and Jerry Scotton of Castaic each caught four bass of at least seven pounds at Los Angeles County’s Castaic Lake. Choe’s largest was a 15-pounder, Scotton’s biggest an 11-pounder.
--Brett Williams of Hemet caught a 12-pound 4-ounce bass at Riverside County’s Lake Perris, and Darren Tochehara of Ventura landed an 11-pound bass at Ventura County’s Lake Casitas.
