* Regarding high fees for community college enrollees who already hold a bachelor’s degree (“A Lesson in Economics,” May 30), I have a suggestion:
Let them enroll on a standby basis, or on the first night of class, for a lesser fee in any class with openings. The income would be better than from a vacant seat, non-graduates would have priority when space is limited, and the varied purposes of college grads would be served. Those who do not want to take a chance on there being an opening could still enroll at the regular time for $50 per unit.
