Philips to Distribute Voiced Powered Device

Voice Powered Technology International Inc., a Canoga Park maker of consumer electronics products, said it signed a distribution agreement with Philips Consumer Electronics Co., the manufacturer and marketer of Magnavox and Philips brands.
The agreement calls for Philips Consumer this fall to distribute Voiced Power’s voice-programmable device for videocassette recorders to retail channels throughout the United States and Canada. The product will be marketed under the Magnavox name, and have a suggested retail price of $149.95. Other terms of the agreement were not disclosed.
