ABC, Madonna Forge TV Program Deal: Pop star Madonna will produce TV series, specials, miniseries and TV movies for ABC under an agreement between her production company, Maverick Television, and the network’s in-house production unit, ABC Productions. The first project will be a four-hour miniseries about Madonna herself, titled “Madonna: The Early Years.” Madonna is a partner in Maverick with her longtime manager, Freddy DeMann. In addition, Maverick is preparing a four-hour miniseries for ABC about former junk bond king Michael Milken, based on writer Fenton Bailey’s book “Fall From Grace.”
