San Gabriel : Obstetrics Ward to Open

San Gabriel Valley Medical Center will open a $3-million obstetrics ward this week that features private maternity rooms for labor, delivery, recovery and post-partum care.
The New Arrivals Obstetric Services Unit also will have a neonatal intensive care nursery and offer prenatal classes for parents, grandparents and siblings.
Opening day activities Saturday will include a maternity fashion show, a baby fair, and hourly seminars on pregnancy and motherhood. Children will receive free coloring books and balloons.
