Oakleaf Music Festival Offers Jazz, Classical

The Oakleaf Music Festival opens Friday and will offer a blend of jazz and classical works performed during four concerts at two different locations in the Conejo Valley.
Here’s the schedule of concerts for the three-day event:
* Friday
8 p.m.
Jazz trumpeter Jack Sheldon and his sextet will perform at the Hyatt Westlake Plaza Hotel, 880 S. Westlake Blvd., Westlake Village.
* Saturday
6 p.m.
Toni Tennille sings works by Gershwin, Kern and Berlin accompanied by the Conejo Symphony Orchestra at Conejo Community Park, Dover and Hendrix avenues, Thousand Oaks.
* Sunday
1:30 p.m.
Contemporary jazz saxophonist Richard Elliot plays at the Conejo Community Park.
6 p.m.
Tenor Lynn Bell and the Conejo Symphony Orchestra perform “A Salute To Romantic Italy” at the Conejo Community Park. The program includes Rossini’s “The Barber of Seville” and Tchaikovsky’s “Capriccio Italien.”
