But Do We Want a Dripless Burger?

NEW YORK — A Dutch company hopes to revolutionize the way Americans eat their cheeseburgers, promising to forever banish the problem of grease and ketchup dripping onto laps and car seats.
WrapCo International of Rotterdam has developed a pleated sandwich wrapper called the Wrappie, which it says uses less paper than other wraps while doing a better job of retaining heat and moisture.
The benefits are particularly important in fast-food-crazed America, where 60% to 70% of the population eats burgers in the car, said Myrna Weiss, managing director of WrapCo.
Weiss said Burger King is testing it in seven of its markets.
