Small Rise Expected in June Sales: U.S. retail sales in June will increase less than 3% from May sales, based on sales in the week ended June 5, said Edward Johnson, director of Johnson Redbook Service. Johnson Redbook, a unit of investment firm Lynch, Jones & Ryan, surveys more than 20 department, discount and chain stores weekly to gauge nationwide sales trends.
