“United Hearts Through Art: A Year of Healing in Los Angeles,” an art show created by children from the riot-affected areas of Los Angeles, will take place Thursday at the Bahai Center at 5755 Rodeo Road, from 4:30-8:30 p.m.
Included will be a photographic display of a mural project in which 50 artists and volunteers worked with more than 500 children to paint flowers on burned-out sites, a 60-by-8-foot mural panel created for the Bahai Center by L.A. City College student Miguel Ramos, and “From Hell to Heaven,” an art competition featuring works from children at four schools.
