Who Needs a Script?: Two-time Pulitzer Prize winner Edward Albee has set an opening date and has begun auditioning actors for his new play, “Fragments,” his first American premiere in a decade. Now all the author of the famed “Who’s Afraid of Virginia Woolf?” has to do is write it. “I don’t expect to deliver the script until the first day of rehearsals,” Albee said, noting that he plans to write the new play this summer at his home in Montauk, N.Y. “Fragments,” which Albee will also direct, is set to open Oct. 6 at Cincinnati’s Ensemble Theater.
